Strand Craft 122 Super Yacht

Gray Design have conceptualised this ultimately sleek, high performance motor yacht for Strand Craft to break into the superyacht market, featuring a specially designed supercar as tender. The 38m open superyacht will be able to reach a top speed of 40 knots with her twin MTU 16V4000 engines with the ability to achieve 55 knots with the use of her optional Rolls-Royce KaMeWa boosters; offering over 14,000hp.
The Strand Craft 122 is a vision of absolute splendour inside and out, holding an impressive Art Deco interior that can be personalised to any discerning taste. The interior features four large, bedrooms, reception and salon areas alongside comfortable crew cabins. The Strand Craft 122 will be fully equipped with state-of-the-art-performance and comfort enhancing technology such as 52” LED TV’s and Bang and Olufson sound systems in all of the rooms.

 

 

With high gloss mahogany inlays on the fore deck and all-glass atrium covering the cockpit, the Strand Craft 122′ Express offers a true Open experience with all the comforts of being fully enclosed.
The most stunning feature of the SC122 is a specially handcrafted supercar (or tender, in this case). It is a completely one-off design closely resembling the genetic form and fashion of the mothership. Slightly retro with a swoopy silhouette much like momma, it will be handcrafted in Italy.

A hydraulic garage door raises upwards and deploys a retractable passarelle to become a dockside driveway. The passarelle will be hinged, allowing up to 2-meters of travel for low tides. There are two sets of stairs leading from bridge deck to the swim platform, which can be lowered for swimming and launching of the 272 hp HSR-Benelli rib tender.
A closer look at the SC122′s supercar reveals a rear mounted, 880hp twin-turbo V12 engine with an estimated 375 kmh top speed. Built from carbon fiber and weighing in at just 2600 lbs., it has a projected 0-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds, but a head-snapping WTH time measuring in the milliseconds.

Featuring an all-glass cockpit, at the helm and up above, it will have 3 digital displays for systems monitoring, plus a thermal vision camera for night ops. The stats call for radar and sat domes to deploy from the roof, but this is one of those ‘believe it when you see it’ things. Overall, the bridge deck is a very clean, minimalistic approach to Med life. There are three large sofas to seat 15 players, while aft is a large sun bed for 4 faux-femmes.
The resplendent salon is entered via individual sweeping staircases to port and starboard. Here, you feel is if you have entered the Waldorf Astoria in the 1920′s. Aft of the stairway is a galley with a cozy bar. To starboard is a club dining area. The entire salon can be transformed to a luxury disco with a sophisticated surround sound system from Bang & Olufsen.
Forward, there are 4 double cabins, each with stunning seaviews from elliptical bullet-proof windows that stretch halfway across the hull. At the forepeak are two crew cabins. Greek marble is used throughout the boat with Hexacon lightweight paneling to offset the increased weight of high-end fixtures.

 

Penampakan Naga di atas Pegunungan Himalaya !

Seorang fotografer amatir Pada tanggal 22 Juni 2004 mengadakan perjalanan menuju wilayah Amdo di tibet untuk menghadiri perayaan pembukaan jalur kereta api Qinghai-Xizang. Yang membuat luar biasa dalam hidupnya, adalah dimana Setelah ia menghadiri acara tersebut dan naik pesawat pulang dari Lhasa.

Ketika pesawat itu melintasi pegunungan Himalaya, ia bermaksud mengabadikan pemandangan di bawah pesawat, ia mengambil kamera dan memotret langit Himalaya yang indah. Tanpa disadarinya, hasil fotonya menangkap dua objek berbentuk seperti ular, karena objek mirip ular tersebut sangat besar maka sang fotografer menganggap ia memotret seekor naga didalamnya. Ia menyebut objek itu "Naga Tibet".
Cobalah anda perhatikan foto tersebut, kita dapat melihat dua objek yang berbentuk badan ular dan tertutupi oleh sisik. Walaupun foto itu tidak menangkap objek tersebut secara lengkap, namun cukup untuk memastikan bahwa dua objek tersebut adalah citra dari dua ekor naga raksasa yang sedang terbang diatas langit diantara awan-awan. Apakah anda dapat melihatnya dengan jelas di foto tersebut?
Foto ini kemudian dipamerkan di internet , dua diantara media terkemuka di Cina. Segera saja, foto ini menimbulkan banyak diskusi dan perdebatan di dunia maya. Seorang pria berkomentar,"Tidak heran, Cina adalah tanah air dari naga ! Alam sungguh-sungguh misterius.". dalam banyak hal memang China di kenal dengan kepercayaan naganya. Bahkan Naga dianggap sebagai hewan setengah dewa.
Dalam kebudayaan Cina, Naga adalah makhluk misterius yang diakui sebagai simbol bangsa Cina. Dalam catatan-catatan kuno China, naga dikatakan sering muncul ketika terjadi pergantian dinasti di dataran china. Apakah makhluk naga benar-benar ada dan nyata? dalam catatan-catatan Cina kuno, terdapat banyak kesaksian dari orang-orang yang mengaku pernah menyaksikan naga mistik.
Salah satu yang paling misterius dari peristiwa yang pernah dicatat adalah peristiwa "naga yang berjatuhan". Tercatat bahwa terkadang masyarakat dapat menyaksikan adanya naga yang jatuh ke tanah dalam kondisi tertentu. Apakah ini dapat dibenarkan belum ada bukti otentik yang dapat membuktikan hal itu.
Peristiwa tentang jatuhnya seekor naga terjadi pada Agustus 1944. Seekor naga hitam diberitakan jatuh ke tanah di desa Weizi di halaman rumah keluarga Chen, sekitar 9,4 mil barat laut wilayah Zhaoyuan, di sebelah selatan sungai Mudan di propinsi Heilongjiang.
Naga hitam itu ditemukan dalam kondisi tidak bernyawa. Para saksi sejarah waktu itu mengatakan bahwa naga tersebut memiliki tanduk di atas kepalanya, serta sisik diseluruh tubuhnya dan memiliki bau amis seperti ikan. Namun bukti kerangka naga atau apapun tidak ada dan hal ini dianggap takhayul atau fatamorgana oleh para ahli.
Mahluk naga, benar tidaknya adalah kepercayaan, dan keberadaannya masih harus dibuktikan.
